STRONG DIAMOND for bonding and repairs

STRONG DIAMOND is a two-component acrylic-technology adhesive designed for manufacturing and repairing worktops, steps and fabricated pieces. It bonds to natural stone, quartz and porcelain materials and can also be used to fill cracks and small cavities.

Curing time and colour can be adapted to the workshop’s needs and to the shade of the material. For critical applications, a preliminary test on a representative sample is recommended.

Polyester fillers for filling and restoration

Polyester fillers can be used to fill cracks, pores and cavities before polishing. Their viscosity can be adjusted to the type of defect and application method, and they can be produced in different colours to match the shade of the stone.

These formulations are designed to provide good adhesion and a finish compatible with subsequent sanding and polishing operations.

Transparent fillers and ultraviolet-curing systems

For work requiring transparency or a discreet repair, we offer unsaturated polyester fillers formulated for ultraviolet-light curing. They are intended for filling small cracks and cavities in natural stone and other compatible substrates.

The formulation must be selected according to the applied thickness, the colour of the stone, the available curing system and the required level of transparency.

Epoxy and polyester systems can be used to consolidate small discontinuities, fill pores and improve the finish of marble, granite, quartzite, travertine and onyx pieces.

We offer low-viscosity epoxy resins and transparent or coloured polyester resins. The choice depends on working time, curing speed, penetration depth and the behaviour required during polishing.

Finishing and protection treatments

Transparent and coloured waxes

Liquid waxes are applied after polishing to improve the gloss and visual uniformity of marble and granite. Coloured versions can even out the shade and improve the final appearance of certain stones.

Water repellents, oil repellents and colour enhancers

Surface treatments help reduce the absorption of water, oils and other substances that may cause staining. Other formulations enhance colour and produce a wet-look effect on bush-hammered, aged or brushed finishes.

Effectiveness and final appearance depend on the porosity, finish and colour of each material. We recommend testing the treatment beforehand on an inconspicuous area.

Repairing edges and small scratches

Solid repair waxes, available in different colours, can correct small scratches and imperfections on edges and finished surfaces made of stone or ceramic materials.

Cleaning and preparation before bonding

Correct surface preparation is essential for a reliable bond. Dust, moisture, oils, waxes and residues from cutting or polishing must be removed before applying the adhesive or filler.
